Analysts are concerned that there is such total reliance (by the military and civilian markets) on the Global Positioning System, that industries which produce alternative technologies are going out of business. Sales of GPS receivers have already hurt the sales of those special clocks that receive radio signals from Boulder, Colorado, for accurate time.
