The US Marines have completed the upgrade of more than 100 UH-1N Huey tactical helicopters with new navigation and communication systems. The program, which started in 1991, was completed under its $74 million budget. The upgrade includes a satellite radio with secure digital communications as well as GPS and Doppler navigation.--Stephen V Cole
