Turkey has resumed buying weapons from France (after suspending several deals when the French parliament condemned Turkey for the genocide of Armenians 90 years ago). The first deal is a $400 million package of sensors to be fitted to nineteen aircraft (nine CN-235 and ten new aircraft not yet on order).--Stephen V Cole
