Surface Forces: Coast Guard Goes Multi-Crew

December 18, 2005: The U.S. Coast Guard, noting the U.S. Navy's success with multiple crews on their destroyers, are going to use the same method to keep their high seas patrols ships ("Deepwater Cutters.") This will enable the coast guard to keep these ships at sea longer, and will mean that fewer ships have to be bought.
