ARABIAN SEA (May 20, 2019) An AV-8B Harrier launches from the flight deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is the flagship for the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG). The Kearsarge ARG, along with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is prepared to respond to contingencies and to defend U.S. forces and interests in the region.
