A large series of police raids in eastern Algeria led to the discovery of a dozen rebel arms caches, the death of two rebels and the capture of three others.  Actual Islamic rebels are thin on the grounds these days, but they left behind a lot of hidden weapons, ammunition and bomb making materials. Apparently, captured rebels have given up the locations of many of these caches.
