  In the last week, there have been two major riots, in which people violently protested government actions. The larger one, involved some 4,000 college students protesting increased college fees and corruption among college administrators. A smaller riot, in a different part of the country, had a thousand people protesting police corruption. In both cases, the protesters fought police, and were dispersed only with great difficulty.
