Russia, or Russian companies and individuals, continue to supply Iran with missile technology.  Development of the Shehab-4 missile, with a range of of 2,000 kilometers, continues. This missile is based on the older Russian  SS-4 missile, which had a range of 3,600 kilometers and carried a warhead weighing up to half a ton. The SS-4 is a 1950s design and this missile was only deployed in the 1960s and 70s. The last of these missiles were destroyed in 1990, but the plans for their
