But the Islamic radicals running the terror operations are not interested in peace with Israel. For the Islamic radicals, their only reason for being is to work for the destruction of Israel. So the thinking now is that the Israeli were largely destroy the terrorist organizations to the point where the peace negotiations can advance. Palestinian statehood would be recognized, Israeli settlements largely removed and the Palestinians would not only recognize Israel's right to exist, but would eliminate all the internal propaganda saying just the opposite.
