Fighting around the southwestern town of Baidoa last July, aid workers have not been able to work in the area. The clan fighting spared known one, so now hundreds of thousands of people in the area face starvation. In the other areas, when the food and aid situation reaches a certain point, the clans arrange a truce so foreign aid cam come in. But in Baidoa, the trigger happy outnumber the truce makers.
