Western press sources and relief organizations bother reported that last week Sudanese government (Khartoum)aircraft bombed a village in southern Sudan's Bahr el-Ghazal region. A missionary school was destroyed in the bombing raid. A statement by the organization Sudan Production Aid (SUPRAID) said the village of Panlit was hit. The statement said the plane made three bomb runs on the village. 14 bombs were dropped. One bomb hit a herd of cattle, killing 73 cows.
