China has tested it's first air launched cruise missile. They may have obtained technology from Russia, which has had such weapons (the AS-15, with a half ton warhead and 3,000 kilometer range.) Russia has been offering a scaled down AS-15 (900 pound warhead and 500 kilometer range) for export sale since 1992.
