Thai Navy Seeks Used Submarines- Thailand is seeking submarines again, asking for bids and lease offers on two or three used boats with at least 10 years of service life. Thailand hasn't had submarines in its Navy since World War I. It tried to buy some in the mid-90s but the 1997 financial crisis stopped this plan.--Stephen V Cole
