An Afghan religious leader, Maulana Abdur Rahim Muslimdost,  has offered a reward of five million Afganis for anyone who kills U.S. President Bill Clinton. The current exchange rate for the Afghani is about 45,000 per dollar. 

Taliban attacks on opposition forces in eastern Afghanistan were repulsed.
