In Kashmir, two rebels made a suicide attack on an army camp. Four soldiers were killed, as well as the two rebels, and four soldiers were wounded. Elsewhere, a battle between ten rebels and troops left three civilians dead and thirty houses damaged. Parts of Kashmir continued under a curfew.
