Terrorism, political refugees, border  security, and people running militant political movements from Britain have all  become a major issue as France makes it easier for illegal migrants to get into  Britain. France has turned the huge warehouse at Sangatte that once held  construction equipment for the channel tunnel into a refugee camp. The refugees  are from Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and are trying to make their  way to Britain, where aid for refugees and chances of permanent asylum status  are the highest.
