The US government has imposed sanctions on a North Korean company for selling missile parts to Yemen in 2001. Since there are no private weapons firms in North Korea, this is a slap at the North Korean government, which has promised not to sell missiles or missile components in return for increased economic aid. It's been common for North Korea to renege on it's agreements.
